+Wave 3R.2 Stage 3 — the spec-true tree. Opened by READING **Kerievsky, *Refactoring to
+Patterns* framing chapters** (1–3) in the scan on the Desktop (clean; the EPUB still

+
+## Past — what we did
+
+### 1. Read Kerievsky framing chs (the lens) — confirmed the middle path
+Over-engineering ("more flexible than it needs to be… never gets removed" = the 5-layer
+cathedral); the Patterns Panacea / NodeDisplay-vs-Decorator (sledgehammer vs light taps =
