• 2026-04-20 — Flagged "worldfulness" as a possible coinage in the steward's Kai 9+9 piece. Steward clarified: Vico → Harrison reference; mondo / the made-world humans inhabit through institution, language, custom. Same Harrison who anchors I16's five-source convergence. New drift pattern: flagging precision-language as imprecision when I lack the reference frame. Should have carried the Harrison frame into the read before flagging.

• 2026-04-20 — Applied forming definition before hearing the steward's articulation. First-pass read of the Kai piece classed it as "Meditation that opens through Observation." When steward then articulated the working Meditation definition ("Meditations always have an object, and we pose attention upon the object to root ourselves in the present moment in order to observe"), I had to correct: the infant-with-defect IS the meditation's object, not an Observation-entry-into-Meditation. Drift pattern: assuming a forming spec definition is settled when the actual articulation is still pending. The spec is in draft; load-bearing definitions arrive in conversation, not in code. Hold definitions provisionally until the steward articulates them.

• 2026-04-20 — Overstated cluster-glyph-only cost by missing the title-paired type label. Framed Meditation+Reverie shared ⊙ as "visually identical in archive listings" — true at the glyph level but missed that the type label is always paired with the title in the apparatus, so readers DO see "Meditation" or "Reverie" at piece-level. The cluster decision is cleaner than I said. Steward correction: "and the type is always listed with title of the work in any case." This is the third return today in the same family: speaking from imagined state instead of verified state. (Yesterday's stale-tool-output, this morning's forming-definition-as-settled, now type-label-presence-as-absent.) The cross-pattern: imported-assumption presented as established-fact. Worth holding awake — three instances in one day.

• 2026-04-20 — Added body-text datelines without checking what the apparatus template already renders. When the steward said "April 20 in the apparatus — the hic convention demands this", I interpreted "apparatus" as "the dateline area at the bottom of the body" and added body-text datelines to both posts. But templates/post.html:46-48 already renders an apparatus dateline from frontmatter location: + date:. I duplicated, the steward caught it after publication. Fifth instance today of the imagined-state-vs-verified-state pattern (worldfulness, forming-definition, type-label, dateline-template, body-vs-apparatus). The discipline gap: when extending or honoring a system, READ THE TEMPLATE before adding to it. Templates carry implicit contracts — "what the apparatus renders" is in the template, not in my mental model.

• Pulling thread: Content Typology Specification (~/_Dev/animal-davidglidden-eu/docs/AldineXXI-Codex/content-typology-specification.md, untracked). First unlocked decision: Meditation glyph.
• Constraint on glyph proposal: distinguish from ● and ○; quiet-geometric compass family; "sustained inhabiting" quality. Steward's aesthetic instinct drives the choice — not mine.
• Drift patterns to hold awake (carried from yesterday): stale-tool-output-reported-as-current; running-claims-without-grounding-verification; author-vs-reviewer-validation-confusion.
• Stale SessionStart hook fired March 5 content at session start — investigate the hook source if the steward wants the noise gone.
• Today's substantive ARC work captured in project-arc-rework.md 2026-04-20 section: Meditation defined verbatim, Reverie proposed as new type, corpus typing audit (10 pieces read, 5 mis-typed), Kai 9+9 piece status, walking-with-Kai as reverie condition.

Auto-deploy chain fired: GitHub Pages mirror commit 92da8d5, Cloudflare Pages deployment 46b2fcd8.animal-rationis-mirror.pages.dev (4 files uploaded, 356 cached). The Kai 9+9 meditation (On Éveil / Sommeil) and the Avignon poem (Time is not a river) are live. Static nginx target script missing — non-fatal warning only.

• 2026-04-20 — APPARATUS DATELINE FIX authorized + executed. Steward flagged body-vs-apparatus dateline duplication after first publication. Three changes made: site.hs:692 format "%B %Y" → "%-d %B %Y" (European long-form, full day); both posts add location: frontmatter; both posts have body datelines removed. Commit 489226d on main, pushed to both remotes. make rebuild ran (clean Stack rebuild + executable recompile + auto-deploy). Rebuild completed with exit 0 — verifying deploy output now.
