Earlier in session: claimed Interpungendi Ratio (1566) by Aldus the Younger is "a standalone treatise, one of the earliest standalone works on punctuation." When steward then provided the HathiTrust source, I learned it is in fact a section within Orthographiae Ratio (also 1566), listed seventh in the title-page inventory. The structural claim was wrong; the work and date and author and topic were right. Drift pattern: confidently characterizing the bibliographic shape of a work I had not seen, from general knowledge that conflates "the punctuation chapter people quote from" with "a standalone book." Same family as yesterday's attribution-by-pattern-match-instead-of-verification (Norris on McPhee/Saunders). Owed correction surfaced to steward in plain language. Honest absence note in gather file + project memory updated to reflect bibliographic correction.
