The day brings emotional weight (last taxes with Marie). The steward will check in tomorrow when they can; the work-shape depends on what they have to give. Default posture: closure + light maintenance. Options laid out in `plan-day-2026-05-21.md`.

### Morning's first move

There may not be one. The first move is wherever the steward arrives — tired from travel, present after taxes, post-rehearsal in evening, or skipping entirely. `/wake-up` if and when they can; then choose from Options α / β / γ based on capacity.

- **(c) Compass principle** (locked 2026-05-19 in `2a2c195`): *"the Compass surfaces every form in the corpus that has at least one published instance; the count tracks the corpus."* Path B respects this at the next reader-facing deploy.
