Reverted to HEAD via git checkout (site.hs, about-page.html, chamber/index.md, both specs); removed title_display from CVs; kept Guest Principal. Lesson: a "small change" that requires touching a clarified structural binding is NOT small → should have stopped and surfaced before building. This is the case-study for the steward's operations-YAML proposal below.

Discussed within ARC posture (3 options); steward chose A (roles as h3, §I.d gentle scale). Then the deeper fix for the redundant "Curriculum Vitae" title: RE-ASSIGN not suppress — frontmatter title→name (about-title h1 = "David F. Glidden"), drop duplicate body h1, "Curriculum Vitæ · Viola" as subtitle, `enfilade-name: "Curriculum Vitæ"` keeps the breadcrumb. PURE CONTENT — sidesteps the Stage-G title_display machinery entirely (the structural thread that over-reached this morning is dropped). + æ ligature (vitæ). Previewed via headless screenshots sent to steward (he's away from machine). Steward: "I like the rest" + Lingua-between-name-and-subtitle parked. Shipped `2e6b8ea`, pushed both remotes, `make build` deployed CloudFlare + mirror. ARC main @ 2e6b8ea. Deferred: Lingua placement; long-h1 width on narrow phones (heading-scale pass).
- LESSON (the day's arc): morning = suppress-the-title via structural Stage-G change → over-reach → reverted → operations.yaml protocol born. afternoon = same goal solved by RE-ASSIGNING the title in pure content. The protocol's triage gate would route the content fix as FIX and the structural one to PENDING — and the content fix turned out better. Reframe over force.
